If you are going to take your first test you need to get a FRN Number from the FCC.

You must have your FRN number before the test session. You must have an email address.
We recommend that you buy the manual and read it to gain knowledge of the rules and protocols of Amateur Radio.
- The Cost from the FCC is $35
- ARRL Cost for Testing is $15 dollars cash. No checks accepted.
GRC hosts all element testing sessions every other Month.
You must arrive by the scheduled time.
